Here is how you can turn a plain bagel into an everything bagel sandwich. A healthy breakfast sandwich to help you start the day right.
Ingredients
- Bagels (Everything preferred, but any kind will do)
- Vegan Butter
- Vegan Sausage Patties
- 1 Large Avocado, sliced thin
- 1 Large Tomato, sliced thin
- Garlic Salt
Directions
- Preheat griddle to 350 F or heat pan on medium-high with a thin coat of healthy oil (organic palm oil or avocado preferably)
- If necessary, shape vegan sausage into even circular patties to fit bagels and cook for approximately 5-7 minutes per side until cooked throughout
- Toast bagels to desired crispiness/color
- Spread thin layer of butter on inside of bagels
- Add avocado slices to bottom bagel half
- Place cooked sausage patty on top of avocado slices
- Top with tomato slices and sprinkle with garlic salt
- Place top half of bagel onto sandwich with a little smoosh to keep it together
